Our Immigration Celebrations will be an annual event. This year, we are celebrating 150 years since the arrival of David McIver and Montmorency in July 1863, also, 140 years since the arrival of the Alardus, Reichstag, Humboldt and the Gloucester. These vessels arrived in 1873.

Descendants of passengers from these sailing ships are invited this year to our event on 1st June 2013. Registration will commence at 9:00am at CWA Hall, Wharf St., Maryborough QLD. Morning tea and lunch available. Cruise down the Mary River from around 3:00pm on the Spirit of Hervey Bay, afternoon tea, buffet dinner at the Boat Club, free buses back to Maryborough. Cost $55.00 for cruise, etc. Contact us by email.

Maryborough Family Heritage Institute holds one of the largest collections of geneaology records in Queensland. The Institute is situated on the corner of Wharf Street and Richmond Street.
